Mother’s Day Gift Guide for 2021

, Author

All manner of mothers (from toddler moms to grandmas to mother figures of every description) have been through a lot this past year. For many, the compounded pressures of homeschooling, and/or the long, drawn-out separations from loved ones only added to the overall anxiety and worry during the pandemic. As a mother myself, I know the very best gifts come in the form of personal time (a day totally to herself should be on the docket!) and also in tokens of gratitude that bring beauty or comfort or meaning into her world. Here are some of my favorite picks to do the latter.

Framed Children’s Art

Make a masterpiece out of your children’s doodles and scribbles with the help of Framebridge—I had this multimedia piece on cardboard by my three-year-old placed in the Marin frame without a mat (from $65), and his tiny watercolor put in the Monroe silver frame (from $65) with a giant mat in order to show it off properly. framebridge.com
